Marjorie Patterson April 20, 1944 – April 4, 2015
Marjorie lived in Barriere off and on her whole life, always drawn back to her roots and family. As a teenager, Marjorie’s favourite job was when she worked at the Williams Lake hospital, avid lover of medicine and helping people. Life may have had other plans but her interest in the medical field was always ongoing, especially when brother Jack became a lifelong paramedic. Living with chronic health issues for years we called up First Responders numerous times. In the last years, many times those calls were made and faces become familiar. She would always calm when she seen Drew as he reminder her of brother Jack when he was young. Always to ask where an attendant was from and was quick to make us all laugh, even her last time. Each time giving thanks to all who helped her and now her final journey is done.
In lieu of flowers to honour Marj please make donations to help the amazing First Responder provide quality care to your loved ones too. Thank you from the family of Marjorie Patterson.
Service to be held April 25, 2015, at one p.m. Combined service with Kitty Hurdle our cousin. At the Fall Fair Hall
